I support the Hamilton…

I support the Hamilton Conservation Authority's submission to the ERO. I am concerned that overly merging the conservation authorities will mean losing local information and relationships that help the CAs operate at their best to focus on local environmental issues. If there are improvements identified to be made, such as standardizing certain procedures or platforms or sharing technology, I think that should be done in other ways while keeping CAs connected to local communities. I worry that this proposal is aimed at cost cutting in a way that is not fully thought out and won't prioritize supporting and continuing the good work done by our current CAs.
