Regionalization of non-profit, provincially-funded organizations typically doors not work. Look what happened to the District Health Councils in Ontario.
Regional staff for these Uber CAs are going to be distant from most parts of their region. Their lack of knowledge of local agencies and communities will not help to foster local relationships between them and CAs.
Likewise, how sound will decisions made by regional staff be when they are far away from much of the geography for which they are responsible?
