I do not support the proposed consolidation of 36 conservation authorities into 7 conservation authorities. This consolidation could lead to irreparable environmental harm, and loss of expertise and knowledge. Consolidating conservation authorities seems fiscally irresponsible and a waste of taxpayer money. Local environmental programming is beneficial for local communities, watersheds, and ecosystems.
