There is no good reason for this proposal. Water and waterways are crucial to our safety and our environment. Therefore, they should be managed at a local level. In no way should the waterways of Sarnia be lumped in with the Grand River and its environs.

This proposal will result is less oversight and less protections at a time when we need more, not less. Please rethink this proposal and scrap it for our safety and the safety of the Great Lakes.
