I do not think this proposal…

I do not think this proposal should pass. Making Ontario competitive at the expense of the health of the environment and the health of the people of Ontario is a high price to pay for something that will only benefit a few. We should be working to protect our water supply, our green spaces, our greenbelt, and our environment as a whole, not harming them. Shame on the province for even considering such an act. Truly horrendous. Do they want another Walkerton incident? The government should propose to do something beneficial, such as cleaning up Lake Ontario or formulating a climate change plan that will actually have an impact, not something that will lead to further environmental degradation, as this proposal would.
