These proposed changes are unacceptable. As a society, it is time that environmental issues are taken seriously, that habitat destruction is taken seriously. Economic issues cannot and should not have sole priority, and our government should be looking for ways to protect the environment and species at risk while also stimulating the economy - I’m sure there are ways to be creative and achieve this, rather than falling back on old fashioned and destructive policies that uphold only the “almighty dollar”.
