This message is in regards to the strong odour emitting from 50 Jutland Road and 35 Jutland Road (Lush Manufacturing): For years (2015/2016-Present) I have smelt the gross, perfume-like odour emitting from 50 Jutland Road and 35 Jutland Road. This smell bothers my nostrils as it is so potent and floral. I have smelt LUSH odours weekly while visiting my girlfriend of 7 years, who lives on Trueman Avenue. I also smell it on dog walks to Queensland Park and while walking on the Queensway. The smell has disrupted many family BBQs, outdoor gatherings and our general enjoyment of the neighbourhood on a nice day when one chooses to relax in the outdoors. As we operate a family business from my girlfriends home on Trueman Avenue, I can smell LUSH very strongly throughout the day. I can often smell it in the early morning (6:00 AM, until about 11:00 AM), as well as in the evenings (5:00 PM until 3:00 AM). It is difficult to enjoy the outdoors while always smelling the toxic-like odours. I also cannot enjoy working with the window or screen door open for fresh air in the morning, as I will have to breathe in LUSH fumes. Please assist the residents who live and work near Jutland Road and the LUSH manufacturing facilities, as the strong odour has gone on for too long and it affects our daily lives.
