The whole region here lies on a bed of Leda clay of varying depth. I understand that engineers have
studied the risks involved in establishing this kind of structures ... elsewhere in the world and
from computer models. But ordinary folks here will tell you about some of the difficulties they've
had with silos of not even half the height or a quarter of the weight that these IWTs will have.
We should not have faith or trust the official conclusions that no risks are involved. This whole
area is known to be subject to landslides on a regular basis and it has been on-going for over a
century as recorded in geological annals. Not enough caution is being afforded here, especially
with T4 and T5, on a deeper bed of clay. Why not push them further elsewhere?
