MOECC has been irresp the choice: EITHER the past modeling measures previously used to establish the setback distance between an IWT and a noise receptor OR the new ones which would have had RES set back the same turbines just a few more meters further. RES chose the former ... Doh! Justice was not served. This is even more lamentable given that RES claims that it wants to be a responsible member of our community and it fails lamentably at the first test of its supposedly good faith. It does not respect our health and well-being. We know that RES was not too far ahead in its plans and that it had all the time it needed and all the space necessary to SLIGHTLY readjust the siting of a FEW of its turbines according to these new measures and still chose not to comply.
