I am writing because I am deeply concerned about the proposed changes to Ontario’s Endangered Species Act as brought forward in Schedule 5 of Bill 108. The proposed changes will remove essential legal protections for species at risk and their habitats and are inconsistent with the purpose of the Act which is to protect and recover species at risk in Ontario.

I respectfully ask that Schedule 5 be removed, in its entirety, from Bill 108.
