As a cyclist and some. Cyclists should receive their education during school years as they do in the Netherlands, so that cycling is both normalized and the regulations become part of the culture.

Road education for all road users will be important to re-design. People who have been driving for 40 years do not always behave safely around bicycles, and presently there is no way to require that education happen- except in advertising campaigns. I believe long-time drivers need to be re-educated at regular intervals to prove their fit-ness for driving. Automobile driving is a privilege, and one that should be periodically re-. The province will need to advocate for rail policies that permit easier bicycle transportation if people are going to be expected to potentially rely on their bicycle as their main mode of transportation most of the time.
