I strongly disagree with the proposed changes for hunting bears. This is a matter of ethics and environmental responsibility. I do not go by science or facts all the time and bears do not exist to provide deadly entertainment, provide room decor, nor do they exist to boost the egos of hunters. One person is killed and it is thought to be a tragedy yet humans feel they can kill wildlife for any reason. As I said I do not go by facts but ethics. What gives anyone the right to hunt bears simply because they can and want to? We are a cruel and dangerous species. Humans are not special or the most important species though clearly many think they/we are but merely the one with the power-power that is too often abused. Is it not bad enough black bears are already killed? Why must you kill even more?
