ALL plastics should be recyclable. Currently, there is a number system associated with plastic products and it's hard to keep up with what is recycled in your city. The numbers should be eliminated and all plastics should be recycled.
Plastic bags should be recycled. Too much waste from that.
Plastic bread holders, pop can holders and anything small plastic should be recycled.
Build more recycling plants.
CBC Marketplace did a documentary that plastic recycling is bogus and all plastics end up going overseas - this should be fixed!
Some items cannot go in blue bin because they're a combination of plastic and paper and we're told to toss them in the garbage.
