379,000 litres per day!? This is thievery by corporate money-grubbers without long term concern or care for local RESIDENTS who live in the area every day and dig regularly into their tax pockets to ensure a reliable supply of safe local water to family, friends, and community.
Stop all water removal for bottling and corporate greed.
Recognizing local municipal voices for amounts over this volume is mere tokenism. This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
One step in the correct direction does not constitute a journey. There is a long way to go toward recognizing that local aquifers and water supplies are finite and renew very slowly. Short term gain is a sell-out.
Stop all water removal for bottling sales, whether the water is sold in its environmentally contaminating containers locally or at a distance.
