Protection of our groundwater is of vital importance and I believe that it is incumbent on our provincial government to establish daily thresholds that are low enough to discourage bottling companies from seekiing licences. Not only is there a serious impact on agriculture when heavy drawing of groundwater is allowed. Production and disposal of plastic bottles is a side issue with consequences of its own. The threshold must be lowered to discourage this practice.
