An MZO is entirely…

An MZO is entirely undemocratic and silences the voices of the people it most affects. It is legal but certainly not ethical. It undermines the freedom of people to determine what they do or do not want in their communities. It destroys trust in government to protect and listen to all citizens of this province and not just those it choses to. It feels like the opposite of the transparency and honesty a government should aspire to. Trying to portray an MZO as a useful tool to move along progress on important projects appears to be spin and deceptive. Anything that over rides the right of people to have input and recourse and that tramps on democracy in this way seems like a disrespectful over reach and power grab and should cease immediately. I submit this comment with respect and hope it is taken seriously.
