This should absolutely not take place. Not only was the current government elected partially on a mandate guaranteeing protection of these lands, but they are a vital part of Ontario's environment. They should remain protected at all cost. More, affordable, housing can be created in existing municipalities by zoning for denser and more varied types of housing. Additional single-family sprawl is not the answer.
