It is true that the cap and trade system is not the best way to limit GHG emissions - although Ontario did reduce its emissions by 15% over the last decade thanks to that system and other parts of the LIberal Green plan.

However the federal "back-stop" carbon tax is an excellent way of reducing GHG emissions, AND will actually return money annually to the Canadian families whose interests Doug Ford says he wants to support.
