Climate change is the most important issue facing our planet and our species. This issue transcends our manufactured differences which are unfortunately dominating today's political discourse.

We are living in an age where data, analysis, and expert opinion is trumped by ego, greed, and recklessness. Environmental contamination is a reality. There must be a price paid for carbon emissions. The cap and trade system is an effective tool to contribute to the fight towards climate change. This new law is weak, ineffective, and will not be forgotten by the millions of Ontarians slated to inherit this province from those trumpeting into their sunsets. I urge the government to seek truth rather than needlessly defaulting to pandering for their own selfish agendas.

At some point we must work together, for there is no real prize for those claiming "efficiencies" when in reality we're all collectively on a sinking ship.
