My Statement on Bill 23 is simple.
Give the newly elected Mayors and Council in the Municipalities in Ontario a minute to grasp the
enormity of Bill 23. Give time for the hard-working communities to provide their feedback. Most
Municipalities in Ontario are just now getting back to work after the Municipal elections and the 70-
page report, that is Bill 23, needs to be read and feedback from all interested parties needs to be
gathered.
That’s it, that’s all. Let’s take a collective breath, to give all a chance to rationalize the potential changes
that will result from Bill 23.
