Climate change is a real problem, and one that isn't currently being addressed enough by our government. It is a long term problem, and to work towards solving it, we need to start making plans and implementing solutions now.

While the "Climate Change Mitigation and Low Carbon Economy Act" is by no means perfect, it is at the very least, an attempt to work towards a solution of the problem, especially with the important requirement for the minister to prepare a plan going forward.

Repealing this act is a major step backwards in that regard, and unfeasible without a real plan for what must replace it.

Short term thinking about budget and taxes cannot be allowed to ruin our children's futures.
