Cancelling the cap and trade…

Cancelling the cap and trade system is not only a mistake but a step backwards in the fight to save our planet. This system fined the polluters and gave the money collected back to the people of Ontario through Green rebates. That is a win-win situation for the people of Ontario. Why one would cancel it makes no sense. Companies had just begun to take climate change caused by humans seriously through innovation of new green energy. Jobs were created in this new sector.
The people of Ontario deserve and demand clean air, water and soil. Many dollars are saved when pollution related health issues are no longer a problem.
The Ontario Government keeps saying it’s for the people. Then act like you are!
