I care deeply about housing. I've dedicated by 20 year career to working to alleveiate homelessness. Through that work, I know that there are more than enough opportunities for infill development in Hamilton. The idea that you'd develop on farm lands and wetlands and the Greenbelt is entirely irresponsible. The science is clear, we need to be making environmentally prudent decisions at every opportunity to avoid environmental crises. This decision goes against science. It is wrong and must be reversed.
