I am very disappointed with…

I am very disappointed with the decision to repeal the Green Energy Act, in particular the cancellation of Ontario's cap and trade program. This program was funding many important initiatives such as the Ontario Municipal Commuter Cycling program. Funds from this program are being used to complete the cycling network in my community. With the cancellation of the second and third years of the program, the infrastructure improvements will now take many years to accomplish.

I look forward to seeing what the current government puts in place to reduce greenhouse gases and mitigate climate change. Please bring forward the new plan as soon as possible. We do not have the luxury of waiting more years to tackle climate change.
