I am strongly opposed to barbaric dog train and trial facilities. It is cruel to take wildlife out of their natural habitat and pen them up. Then, to subject them to being torn apart by dogs. This in turn promotes aggressive behaviour by dogs, animals who have been domesticated to not show this type of behaviour to safely interact with humans.
We have come so far in the advancement of protections for animals in the last 25 years, so it would be a huge step backwards to reopen applications for dog train and trial facilities. Existing facilities should be closed immediately.
