I am very disturbed that Ontario is considering more penned dog hunting facilities. This is a barbaric practice and has no place in our province and should be banned completely. It is especially cruel to use rabbits, coyotes, and foxes as pawns for hunters to train dogs and hold competitions.
It is time for this province to become more sensitive to animal cruelty and to take steps to stop it. Instead it seems that this government is wanting to turn the clock back to a time when animal suffering is used for entertainment.
Unacceptable and shameful.
