I am deeply troubled by this proposal to allow new licences and the transfer of existing licences. Instead of issuing new licences, the existing "train and trial" areas in Ontario should be closed. These penned dog-hunting facilities are inhumane to the wild animals that are used to train the dogs. These facilities were banned a quarter century ago for a reason: wildlife should never be taken from it's natural environments for sport. We are better than this as Ontarians.
