In the era of the Anthropocene, it is incumbent upon the government to view all new developments with a climate lens, and to circumvent those who would profit from Short-sighted projects such as the Bradbury ByPass . Protection of the nature we have left is one of the remaining win-win solutions to climate change.
The urgency of climate declarations in Canada is not being recognized by governments but Courts are being asked increasingly to intervene, as in this case when our Environment Minister neglected his duty.
Please protect our Greenbelt and all areas endangered. Intelligent stewardship of Ontario’s nature is what we expect and deserve.
