O. Reg. 390/18 requires reporting to be from January 1st 2018 to July 3rd 2018 (inclusively). Cap and trade ended on July 3rd 2018. Participants no longer have a compliance obligation as of July 3rd, 2018. Does this mean that a participant will have a mismatch between its report (which includes July 3rd) and its allowances/credits (which should not include July 3rd)? One day (July 3) may not seem a lot but you will have a hard time matching both numbers as some participants are fuel distributors who sell significant amounts of fuel in the summer months. You should clarify either in 390/18 that reporting should end on July 2, or in this act that credits need to include July 3.
