I was raised on a farm in Alberta and currently live in Toronto. I am very familiar with the role coyotes play in a healthy ecosystem. This is not even remotely about that.
Please do not allow the issuance of licences for new dog train and trial areas and the transfer of licenses. Opening applications for train and trial spaces after several decades is a barbaric regression to a less civilized past. Frankly it's embarrassing. Such facilities have no place in Ontario.
Rather than opening new applications, the province should move towards closing the existing 24 facilities and providing programs for other pursuits for enthusiasts.
