I was horrified to learn that the Ontario government is considering reversing a ban on penned hunting or "train and trial areas," which are banned in every other province in Canada and most states in the US.

This is a cruel and unnecessary practice. I want to emphasize that I am not against responsible hunting of wild animals in their natural habitat for food. But penned hunting is not hunting - it's torture for sport.

Please keep the existing ban in place, and shut down existing penned hunting operations.
