Having this landfill situated in any rural Chatham-Kent community would have negative effects on our well-being, families, and local economy. The areas between Wallaceburg and Dresden have already experienced significant impacts, making it unfair to introduce this issue here as these communities, along with the smaller ones in between, are showing signs of revitalization. It is crucial to rethink this decision in order to protect our health, families, and economic development. Allowing this to proceed would result in the decline of our communities.
