I disapprove the construction of these four 32 storey buildings.
Myself and my family have been residents of the Weston Downs area since 2014.
We have noticed over the years with the development of new condos in the area, that children and families come to the community parks in our area’s. There has been no new parks, schools or recreational facilities for these new residents to go.
Rushing to Add new buildings to the Weston corridor that will already see a huge increase in buildings over the coming years without the addition of new schools, parks and recreation facilities first ! is not a good plan.
Further to my concerns above is the vehicle traffic that will undeniably become worse.
I don’t see how residents in these proposed buildings will have easy access to public transit.
Therefore pushing more vehicles on to already contested roads.
Make improvements to the infrastructure first before jamming more condos into the neighbourhood. That is responsible urban planning.
We have the chance to make things work out right the first time!
