I completely disagree with this proposal. Once again, humans feel the need to exert their will over animals for no justifiable reason. Hard for me to imagine sitting in a boat and firing into a flock of birds for the sport of it. Leave nature alone please.

This is a nonsense plan which will do nothing to restore degraded habitat, bring back depleted fish stocks or make up for decades of industrial pollution. It won't even validate Bob Bailey, who tabled a Private Member's Bill some years ago to no avail.

This proposal would not only damage natural ecosystems, but also endanger the public by allowing hunters to discharge firearms throughout the spring, summer and fall season when lakes and natural areas are populated by cottagers and tourists. Please revoke it.

I agree 100% with a proposal to allow hunting of cormorants. I believe the effectiveness of the program however is almost completely dependent upon the rules to be set about disposing of dead cormorants. Lire davantage

I am totally opposed to this proposal. I do not believe that cormorants should be designated as a game species. The proposal establishes a limit on the number of cormorants that anyone with a small game license can kill that is much too high. Lire davantage
