This backdating the tag allocation system to 1992 is absolutly ridiculous. It is a complete farce to allocate all the available tags to folks that have been appling incorrectly for decades. The maximum group size proposed is 10 hunters. That should be higher. Some traditional hunt camps have more hunters than 10. It shouldn't matter the size of the group.

We have been hunting in Northern Ontario WMU 41 for the past 10 years and have seen an abundance of moose - cow, calf and bulls. We do believe that the calf hunting should be cut back so that they can grow to become adults but believe that the adult moose tags should be increased. Lire davantage

All hunters who party hunt should register there groups.Those hunters should not be able to hunt with another group or hunter in the same wmu. Should do away with surplus tags. Lots of units have surplus tags for cows which allow a group to get lots of tags for their group.

You must be joking. Natives can harvest 4 moose each per year without a tag. Joke is on non natives. You will be losing many long time hunters including me. See ya.

Along with the changes being proposed for the moose hunt, you should include banning the use of ATVs for hunting moose. It allows hunters to get into areas that you cannot access with a vehicle and doesn't really give the moose population a chance. Lire davantage

I think that it is important to keep the group application. A group of 15 only needs 1 adult tag and I know our group is happy with that. Does this not satisfy more hunters? Cut the calf hunt out completely

I think that these changes are a great start. I also think that calf hunting should be stopped for at least 5 years. Plus I am a firm believer that all hunters who hunt in Ontario should have to follow the same rules.
