I am disgusted that the Ontario government is considering bringing back the Spring bear hunt. Is this government all about dollars! You have no regard for wildlife and this hunt will leave orphaned cubs to die. Have you no compassion? Please do not reinstate this hunt. Have some morals.

Please hear our family plea to end any bear hunts in Ontario. I urge Ontario legislators to cancel the Spring Bear Hunt completely, and to not expand the pilot project instituted by previous Liberal governments. Lire davantage

Protect and Respect !!!! Get your facts straight ! It’s education that’s needed here not an inhumane brutal hunt for these beautiful bears, male, or female , pregnant or cubs - it doesn’t matter to these low life hunters who kill with no respect for wildlife or their environment ! Lire davantage

Please protect vulnerable post-partum mothers by banning the Spring bear hunt. We are at a critical point in history, and protecting nature and wildlife should be our first priority. Lire davantage

I am very much opposed to the implementation of a spring black bear hunt. I worked in wildlife rehab for many years, and saw firsthand the effects of hunting on bear populations, particularly orphaned cubs whose mothers had been shot. Lire davantage

Doug Ford, you are a monster! If you are able to read (I wonder), read the science on this! We should all be more evolved than this in 2020. Is there no end to your sabotage on our environment!

Do not create a spring bear hunt. | Live black bears can have as much or more tourism potential than dead ones--years ago at a conference in Quetico Provincial Park, all the European participants would regularly disappear...to watch the black bears at the dump! Lire davantage

Please do not allow Black Bear hunting in this province. There is no need for the killing of these animals. So many cubs end up orphaned and die. They are part of the ecosystem and should be left alone. No one needs a dead bear.

Agree with the return of the spring bear hunt but family members who are non-resident bear hunters should be allowed to hunt with their immediate resident relative. The the resident family member would be their "guide" and would need to be hunting together. Lire davantage

To allow the Spring Bear hunt would be irresponsible, to many cubs would end up dying once again, it's well known that mother bears will often leave cubs behind in trees or hidden while they forage food, when a hunter comes across the bear he doesn't know for sure if the bears have cubs or not th Lire davantage

Hi, I would like to express my support for a full band of hunting bears. This day and age we should not be interfering with wildlife the way we do. We do not need to take an animals life for pleasure or food. Lire davantage

It is beyond APPALING that this government is even considering this! NO BEAR HUNT!!!!!!!!!! Why don't you start PROTECTING the animals of Ontario / Canada instead of constantly giving the approval to HARM THEM. PURELY EVIL.

Stop the permit of hunting and killing bears. Humans are already killing too many animals and destroying ecosystems. Bears are also not consumed for food. So killing them for sport is plain murder. Please do NOT allow it.

It is unbelievable that this is happening in Canada. We are not a third world country where hunting bears for the purpose of eating them to survive is a necessity. Lire davantage

Please do not allow the "Spring Bear Hunt" to resume. It is cruel, irresponsible, inefficient and cowardly. It should not be used as amusement for hunters. Maybe humans should learn to respect others species, clean up our garbage and care for them as we were meant to.
