Please don’t allow the commodification of water in Canada. The selling of bottled water is unfortunate in a country with the water resources we have, especially considering as well how much plastic waste it generates. Please say NO to Nestlé.

absolutely no water taking permits should be granted for the purpose of bottled water. Giving away our natural resources for so little, to the already wealthy, to sell back to us is immoral and incredibly short sited. we should be phasing out all single use bottled water, not allow more. Clean potable water is already a hard enough resource to obtain as is. We should not allow companies to access precious resources for a pittance and then sell it back to us for a premium, especially since we just denied Nestle that same privilege.

Triton nor any corporation should have access to our water when Indigenous communities don't have clean drinking water. Water should not be sold, it's a human right and a necessity of life.
