I ave no issue with the proposal I feel there shouldn’t be a time limited place on the transfer or request for new licences. This will help train your dog in a safe environment. Along with keeping the dog sport alive for future generation in the sport to learn and control safe environment.

Instead of live captured animals use live captured profiteers. They can be live captured at weddings, stag and does and on golf courses.

Please do not pass this barbaric proposal to trap animals for the purpose of being hunted and torn apart by dogs.

I read with interest that “New train and trial areas were last approved to be established in 1997 and were intended to be phased-out over time”. Lire davantage

Since when did hunting become a "sport". This us an unethical and dangerous practice. Trapping animals that cannot defend themselves is inhumane and animal abuse. It will also not be regulated and is not breed specific. This will put all dog breeds in danger. Lire davantage

Wildlife should never be taken from their natural environments and held captive by hunters. It’s especially cruel to use rabbits, coyotes and foxes as pawns for hunters to train dogs and hold competitions.

This is vile and disgusting. Animal abuse at it's finest. It absolutely astonishes me that people in government make such disturbing decisions for the sake of money. Please be aware. No ethical hunter would want to watch animals shred each other apart. Lire davantage

Greetings Ontario Legislative Assembly, Cree Justice in Hunting calls for no overconsumption. A practice like this does not fit into hunting traditions among First Nations, or most hunters. Lire davantage

This is cruel and unnecessary. This promotes dog fighting and aggression - I’ve had my leashes dog attacked by unleashed “trained dogs” - it doesn’t stop at ripping apart penned wildlife.

I firmly reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to wild animals that are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt. Lire davantage

Hello, After reading this proposal I double checked the year we are living in! Yes, 2023 is correct! Then why do I feel that all of a sudden we are in ancient Rome, spectators at the Coliseum, just bring the slaves. Lire davantage

I am a definite supporter of this bill. This is a very important issue for both the dogs and the people who use the dogs for hunting. It contributes to the outdoors activities for both the tourist industry and local economy in many ways. Lire davantage

We farm 200 acres and have no problems with coyotes and believe they have an important role in the ecosystem. We believe there should be no training facilities for hunting dogs to go after wildlife. This is a very cruel behavior to be allowed in Ontario.

I do not agree with continuing penned hunting even for training purposes. It is cruel to the wild animals who have no where to go and little chance of survival. Lire davantage
