The Greenbelt is one of the world’s most unique landforms. These ecosystems must be protected before the diminishing biodiversity reaches catastrophic levels. Why build more homes that most of the province cannot afford anyway? Please do not let this happen. Lire davantage

Please, for the sake of the future of Canada, do not develop this land. This is purely a money grab by a greedy politician who wants to sell land to his developer lands. Ford should be ASHAMED for his actions. You cannot take away this from Canadians.

As an Ontarian, I would be very ashamed of the province that I live in if this plan was executed. There are numerous other plans in our province that could be demised to help the important issues (e.g., education system, healthcare, homelessness, etc.). Lire davantage

Stop developing on land. Start repurposing land and empty building within city limits. Old and empty buildings already have services brought in. When it’s new development, services like hydro and water need to be brought in.

I'm not in favour of this. This proposal sets a dangerous precedent for urban sprawl. Developing Greenbelt that helps act as a natural protection to natural disaster (flooding in particular) is alarming. Lire davantage

As a resident of Ontario, I am against this plan by the premier. He had promised that he will not touch this land and now he is breaking that promise. I voted for him, and so did a number of my friends, and now we are all watching him break his promise. Lire davantage
