Hell no!!! Besides the fact that it's a transparent land grab with some people (close to the government) making huge amounts of money, the land that was designated as part of the greenbelt was done so for a reason, to protect ecologically sensitive or valuable land.

There should be no incursion into the greenbelt. Your own expert panel concluded there was no need to open up this precious land as there is sufficient room if you commit to more density. Lire davantage

Greenbelt land was designated after significant scientific studies and extensive public consultation and cannot just be whittled away without significant justification and extensive public consultation. As a native Canadian i am very concerned about the irreparable damage to the ecosystem and animal habitat. Additionally since no one is actively or actually monitoring water at the source we are heading towards ecological disaster.

I was previously in favour of this highway being built but after some thinking I have begun to think this is not such a good idea. It would be far more beneficial for the city and the province at large to invest in 15-minute GO train service. Lire davantage

Encroaching on the green belt is the wrong thing to do. We need all the green areas and farmland in Ontario that we currently have and more! We don’t want to have to import our fruits and vegetables. The green belt is important for environmental health. Lire davantage

Have already informed our mpp re: my strong opposition to this unneeded and damaging proposal. Let’s keep promises made. From where are you getting your information and advice re: using greenbelt for housing and roads. Neither make sense or can be justified.
