The bike lanes are horrific. They have taken an already terrible traffic situation and dramatically worsened it. The city contains very few bikers (~1% of traffic), the vast majority of whom are delivery and not commuting. Lire davantage

Please do not remove any bike lanes. I regularly use many of the bike lanes in Toronto and they help to keep me safe and allow me to get around in an affordable way.

Toronto needs more bike lanes. Doug Ford should have no say in City of Toronto bike lanes. Removing bike lanes would be absurd

The province should not be focusing on getting “drivers” around. It should be focusing on getting people around. The implementation of bike lanes not only creates a safe means of travel for cyclists, but alleviates sidewalks from cyclists. Lire davantage

This proposal is an absolute overreach of provincial government on what is clearly part of municipal jurisdiction. Lire davantage

I very strongly oppose this bill to remove bike lanes. I bike in Toronto and do not feel comfortable biking on streets without designated bike lanes because it is so dangerous to bike on a street without. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7316837 Lire davantage

This legislation goes against scientific evidence and shows that this government values suburban votes over the lives of cyclists. Reducing bike lanes is the complete opposite of what our cities need to reduce the impacts of climate change.

This proposal is a waste of public funds. Removing bike lanes will be costly and based on data, will either have no impact on travel times or at best might save drivers a couple minutes only at peak travel times. Lire davantage

In general this government is not taking the issue of climate change nearly seriously enough. Specifically, bike mobility is a small part of getting us out of the mess we're in. Lire davantage

All it takes is a quick Google search to see why creating additional barriers to bike infrastructure might be a terrible idea. Lire davantage

I very strongly oppose this bill to remove bike lanes. removing bike lanes will further worsen congestion, not decrease it. We need to do everything we can to encourage alternate modes of transportation (bikes, public transit) to get more cars off the road - this will improve congestion. Lire davantage

Bikes are not creating gridlock, cars are. Invest in public transit and continue to offer alternatives to car travel. Spending yet more provincial funds to rip out new and existing infrastructure is fiscally irresponsible.

Leave the bike lanes in Toronto alone. If anything add more of them. Why don’t you invest in better transit infrastructure to get people out of their cars instead. Very disappointed with this government. 0/5 stars.

Most of my cafe business comes in on foot or bikes in Toronto. Please don’t remove bike lanes , we want more people walking in not driving past. One car lane is more than enough
