Bikes lanes are important and reduce the number of cars on the road. They also increase the number of people shopping at local businesses. Encouraging active transportation is another way to help reduce illness. Getting rid of bike lanes will not reduce gridlock. Lire davantage

Hello. I ride bikes and also drive cars. In order to drive on the road I had to have training and attain a license. I believe all adult riders on bicycles (electric or human powered) should have some sort of license and training (unless they already have an automotive license). Lire davantage

This is a stupid and very dangerous proposal. People will die because of it their deaths will be at the hands of this government. Lets used fact based decision making and not some finger in the air politically driven decision. Lire davantage

Bike lanes save lives, and, as study after study shows, REDUCE congestion. More to the point, encouraging more driving in an ongoing environmental crisis isn’t just bad policy, it’s morally reprehensible. Lire davantage

I have many concerns about the effects of this bill. I am both a driver and a regular commuter cyclist. There is no doubt that there are congestion problems in Toronto however reducing bike lanes is not a solution and will certainly have negative consequences. Lire davantage

As a pedestrian I have been almost taken out by bikes who go at rapid speeds with disregard for anyone. Cars have rules and fines and stop. I am most happy to not have bike lanes. They have given the few that use them a sense of we can't be touched so just watch out.

This is egregious provincial government overreach and regressive policy. Funding transit and adding bike lanes improves traffic congestion not adding car lanes, street parking and highways through critical green space and farmland.

I am very disappointed that the provincial government is planning such a regressive policy. Lire davantage

The Minister must ban bikes along the selected corridors where bike lanes are scheduled to be removed. If bike lanes are removed, bikers will simply continue to use the entire lane of traffic, continuing to cause traffic slowdown, gridlock, and ultimately safety issues. Lire davantage

What are you doing? I don't bike but bike lanes reduce MY traffic by getting drivers off the road. They also make it safer for me as bikes aren't in my driving lane. Also, this is not a Provincial matter.

I live close to Bloor and Dovercourt and strongly oppose the removal of the existing bike lanes. I drive and bike every day in the city, and I go out of my way to take Bloor both with my bike and my car. The bike lanes have made getting to business on Bloor EASIER by bike AND by car. Focus on healthcare and education with our hard earned money. It's a waste of time, tax dollars and energy to revert these bicycle lanes without any facts or figures. This bill is insulting to the tax payers of Ontario. Lire davantage

I have a feeling this comment will do no good but here we go - please, please, consider the residents who have invested in homes in high density areas for their walkability. Please look to Bathurst and bloor, Dufferin and bloor, where thousands of rental units are coming to completion. Lire davantage

I have worked VERY hard teaching my daughter how to safely cycle in our downtown neighbourhood and I am disgusted by what our Premiere is proposing. I challenge Doug Ford to cycle in our downtown corridor on streets WITHOUT a bike lane accompanied by a CHILD. Followed by a protected bike lane. Lire davantage

I support this Bill. The loss of the lanes on Bloor Street West from Kipling eastward has caused major gridlock and delays. This is worse for the environment with so many cars stuck idling or going less than 10 KPH. Lire davantage

1. I don't have any interest in the provincial government once again meddling in municipal affairs. 2. I have children that use these bike lanes, and it'll be a real shame to spend our money to make them less safe on the roads, thanks. Lire davantage
