This seems very much out of your jurisdiction, Ontario. Also, we need bike lanes.

I am strongly opposed to and extremely distressed by Bill 212. This bill is contrary to the best interests of Ontarians – cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike. Lire davantage

Bill 212, which mandates the removal of bike lanes on major Toronto streets, is a misguided approach to addressing traffic congestion. This policy not only misallocates taxpayer funds but also fails to enhance traffic efficiency. Lire davantage

I biked to work, reducing gridlock by not using my car, but this lane reduction will put me and my fellow cyclists in real physical danger. What's more, this act of provincial overreach seriously undermines Torontonians right to representative local democracy. We voted for Chow and for bike lanes.

I live in Scarborough, and strongly support the existence of bike lanes. Wider streets do not make better traffic; less cars on the road do! Providing infrastructure for alternatives to cars means people are more likely to take eco-friendly, traffic-fighting methods. Lire davantage

Poor transit options, not cyclists, cause the massive traffic headaches we have in Toronto. With safer bike lanes more people will be open to using this environtally friendly and healthy mode of transit.

We need bike lanes! I can’t believe we are even debating this issue. Tired of so much stupidity in government.

I don't have a problem with buses or vans full of people. This is economical use of the road space. The economics of road space drop when there is one four wheeled vehicle with only one passenger. This is compared to the 100% economy of one bicycle with one rider.

Why do we keep electing the wrong people to govern us, who put theirs and their friend’s interest before a livable city? Bikes save lives.

Please do not remove the bike lanes. There is no easy way to bike across the city on side streets. This will endanger the lives of many cyclists.

Stop wasting government money and leave our bike lanes alone, it's not your jurisdiction and it's a waste of money. Also, stop trying to avoid regulations put in place to protect protected land

Removal of bike lanes will cause deaths. Children are also bike lane users - my 9 year old daughter is a bike lane user. Lease don’t put her young life at risk. Existing bike lane users may ride on the sidewalk and would put pedestrians at risk of life altering injuries. Lire davantage

Bicycles are a vital part of any urban transportation network! They're zero emissions, inexpensive, light weight, accessible and just plain fun. Lire davantage

I am a car driver, a bicyclist, a wife, mother of two children. It upsets me that bicycle lanes have become a political wedge issue in this province when the focus should be on the right for people to be able to choose a mode of transportation and get to where they want to go safely. The people in local municipalities are in the best position to decide how to build bike lanes on municipal roads. The provincial government doesn’t need to be involved in decisions about whether bike lanes are appropriate. That’s what municipal governments are for. Lire davantage
