Please reject the bill because it's a Trojan horse disguising a bike lane issue, while actually attacking on property rights, and trying to allow Highway 413 be exempt from any environmental impact assessments. Lire davantage

I have previously submitted a comment about how: - the removal of bike lanes is making municipalities dangerous for the public, - businesses from around Ontario (and specifically in Toronto) are against the removal of bike lanes, which allow for a lot more customers to frequent them Lire davantage

I live near Dundas and Islington and drive to work downtown most weekdays. Bloor St. West from Islington to the South Kingsway is often jammed with vehicles while the bike lanes are, for the most part empty. I support removing the bike lanes at least on Bloor West. Lire davantage

This legislation - among other things - is a huge step backwards for simply equalizing and sharing public space in Toronto between cars, cyclists, transit, pedestrians, and all users. Lire davantage

There are few things stupider than paying taxpayer money to rip out bike lanes that provide safety for cyclists and pedestrians, and give drivers a safe buffer to drive at ease without fear of an accident. Lire davantage

Traffic will only ease with significant improvements to public transit and bike lanes. Giving up now isn’t the answer and removing the lanes definitely won’t improve car traffic.

Destroying already built bike lanes and removing any further prospect of bike lanes in Toronto is an absolute travesty! Lire davantage

I live in Ontario - but not Toronto. I did live in Toronto for 5 years. During that 5 years I never once rode a bike or drove a car on any of Bloor, Yonge or University. I did ride the subway in to these places daily. Toronto is a large city, and Ontario is an even larger province. Lire davantage

For the record, I am both a motorist and a cyclist. The proposed removal of bike lanes in downtown Toronto is one of the most backward looking, anti-evidence, wasteful, and small minded policies I have ever seen. Lire davantage

I feel that this bill is being maliciously put forward to intentionally harm the very idea of modes of transportation alternative to individual motor vehicles, which not only financially benefits the Premier and his immediate friends, but would be monetarily detrimental to the average person, and ec Lire davantage

I work downtown and cycle to work as often as the weather allows (with the advent of climate change it is becoming more and more often although that's another even more important matter which is nevertheless related to removal of bicycle lanes which will contribute to this problem). Lire davantage

The bike lanes in Toronto are vastly underused and a total waste of space. We can keep a few so that there is a bike network for cyclists to use, but we don’t need bike lanes on every street. Lire davantage

As a driver, bike lanes reduce the number of cars on the road and benefit my commute. I would like to see there be a modification to lanes occupied by parked vehicles on the aforementioned streets instead. Lire davantage
