bringing the dump to dresden would be dangerous to the wildlife here. There are a school children in town, there are a lot of them crossing the roads, i don't want anyone to get hurt. We also have a food processing factory in town, it would be awful to have so much garbage nearby. Lire davantage

Good morning. I find it amazing to have to message to request a proposed dump site be denied. The proposed mega dump site by York 1 is less than 1 km from the town of Dresden and 1-3 kms of an entire population of ~2500. York 1 is piggy backing on an abandoned dump site- abandoned 40+ years ago. Lire davantage

Our community insist on a full comprehensive EA, since the premiere wont even use his own bill 197 to stop this Dump.. Our collective communities of Dawn Euphemia & Chatham Kent have voted NO to this dump.. Walpole Island & the Delaware nations also oppose this project.. Lire davantage

A full complete environmental assessment must be done. This must include baseline water testing. This location is far too close to the town of Dresden, waterways and is in a floodplain. This is not a good location for a landfill. Lire davantage

Doug Ford is advocating that he listens to the people. If he gets it wrong he will hear about it. Well he has got it wrong about placing a dump within 500 meters of Dresden. No company should be able to avoid the rules and regulations when applying to open a dump near a community. Lire davantage

I support a full assessment for this landfill proposal. I am deeply concerned about the location of the dump and the proximity to the town of Dresden.
