As an outfitter ,I get visitors from the US , Manitoba , Quebec even Germany .I have yet to see one fisherman bringing fish bait from out of my area .They always call to know if I have some and if I don't have any , where to get some near by. Read more

We are strongly opposed to the elimination of the use of live bait in Long Lake (Sharpe and Robillard Townships) as it is partially enclosed in the Englehart River Fine Sand Plain and Waterway Provincial Park. We are not opposed to some restrictions on the importation of life bait. Read more

As a family group of 6 (3 generations) we used to take a canoe trip to Basswood Lake Minnesota/Ontario border lake and camped in Ontario for about 20 years, but due to the numerous restrictions placed on fishermen our group hasn't vacationed there in over 10 years. Read more
