I care deeply about the protection of at risk birds, I believe that it is extremely important that we continue to protect our forests, wetlands, and grasslands that the birds rely on. This needs to be protected for future generations, and for the well-being of our planet. Read more

There is absolutely no need to destroy more of Ontario for housing or 400 series highways! We need the green space, endangered species deserve protection - find other ways and other locations - stop destroying the beauty of Ontario to suit the city lifestyle. ALL LIVES MATTER. Read more

The government should not be able to change the list of species classification and there should not be a dissolving and prohibition of advisory committees. For those reasons, and the general lack of protections for species and their habitat, I disagree with this bill. It should not be approved.

It seems like the proposal to redefine how habitat is classified leaves it wide open to greatly reduce critical areas for protected species with little consideration for wildlife corridors or connected green space. The green space in southern Ontario is already disappearing at an alarming rate. Read more
