Ontario currently has over 230 species that are at risk for extinction. This desire to push through development with little or no thought to consequences or outcome is destructive. This bill is flawed and does not take our indigenous caretakers into consideration at all. Read more

This bill must be stopped. Creating SEZs will harm Ontarians in the long run by allowing foreign investors to financially benefit from reduced taxes and reduced regulations, meanwhile small and local businesses outside the SEZs are held to a jigger standard of regulation and permitting. Read more

The over-ride of municipal planning in the interest of developers will eventually cause the downloading of development costs onto existing land owners. Municipalities need to have complete control over their own developments to allow them to keep property taxes under control. Read more

Every step this country takes is a step in the wrong direction. I understand the need to increasing construction speed, especially in the need for economic development, but there are necessary steps needed to ensure projects are successful short and long term.
