I am absolutely opposed to the Ford Government's blatant attempt to circumvent environmental protections of remaining slivers of natural spaces in Ontario. With wildlife in drastic decline, air quality decreasing, and a drastic increase in flooding, we need to save our wild spaces. Read more

If this goes through this will become a huge threat to any natural spaces and animals and species that we have. We are slowly losing space for other animals to have their own homes out of selfishness. Animals and plants and endangered species deserve more land than they have now. Read more

I am vehemently opposed to the omnibus Bill 5 act. We are not America and I for one strenuously object to what Doug Ford and his government are doing - taking us in the direction the US government is going while pretending to be a loyal Canadian secretly undermining Canada and what it stands for. No, full stop, absolutely not. Nothing is more critical to the economy than a healthy natural environment. We are experiencing extreme weather events, drought, and extreme heat because of the severe loss of tree canopy in Southern Ontario, and the world. Read more

Faster permitting does not equal better permitting. Suspending provincial laws and bylaws that were set up in order to protect our environment and ensure proper compliance is a ridiculous decision and will have horrible consequences. There are serious questions about the rule of law. Read more

Separate and independent non government entities should provide check and balance to ensure environmental viability. Please use prioritize existing urban infrastructure for housing and civil services instead of bulldozing over conservation areas. We are losing too many. Read more
