This Act is likely to result in substantial environmental degradation and possibly relocation of families, most likely in the most vulnerable sectors of our society. There must be more effective ways to facilitate development. Please put some effort into finding them!

If the Government works effectively this legislation is not required. It is too open ended, meaning that the Provincial Government can invoke this legislation at their will. All guardrails are removed and it will open up the possibility for these exceptions to be abused.

I DO NOT support watering down environmental protections or infringement on First Nations territories without their consent . There are ways to support our economy that are not at the expense of fauna and the environment. We will not be able to recover long term from these short term gains!! Read more

This bill is oversteps critical aspects of our land and environmental with exaggerated reasoning. There are multiple ways to protect against Trumps econmic tarrifs then ignoring important endangered species acts and the rights of our Native Indigenous people. Read more

I do not approve the bill to have the premier the final decision on the endangered species. Building without the consideration of the species that live there is not the best thing for Ontario and is unacceptable for our environment and future as a province.
