This Act is likely to result in substantial environmental degradation and possibly relocation of families, most likely in the most vulnerable sectors of our society. There must be more effective ways to facilitate development. Please put some effort into finding them!

I believe that our government should be prioritizing Indigenous rights and reconciliation. This act is the opposite of that.

If the Government works effectively this legislation is not required. It is too open ended, meaning that the Provincial Government can invoke this legislation at their will. All guardrails are removed and it will open up the possibility for these exceptions to be abused.
This bill is absolutely shameful. We need to care for the lands, we need to make sure our government is listening to Ontarians push against this bill, and we need to prioritize developing bills that protect the land.

I DO NOT support watering down environmental protections or infringement on First Nations territories without their consent . There are ways to support our economy that are not at the expense of fauna and the environment. We will not be able to recover long term from these short term gains!!

This proposal endangers so many species and will have a devastating impact on the environment. I DoNOT agree with this proposal. In fact I beg the government to stop this bill before it’s too late. Please. This benefits no one in the long run.
I am deeply concerned that the Ford government is using the tariffs as an excuse to disregard environmental protections in Ontario. Degradation to the environment will not be reversible after the current crisis is over.

I do not approve the bill to have the premier the final decision on the endangered species. Building without the consideration of the species that live there is not the best thing for Ontario and is unacceptable for our environment and future as a province.
